Originally released in Japan in 1990, the Super Nintendo (or SNES) was a 16-Bit console which achieved worldwide success, selling approximately 49 million units during the 1990's. It offered improved graphics and audio over the original NES, with games such as Starfox and Donkey Kong Country offering never before seen levels of 3D rendering. Popular titles included Super Mario World, Starfox, Super Mario Kart and F-Zero. Many titles were released, hence there are now thousands of Super Nintendo Roms and SNES Roms available online.
