1) How can I sign up to your affiliate scheme?
Simply visit our affiliate sign up page and fill in your details. There's no waiting to be approved; as soon as you have signed up you can start earning commission right away!

2) What do I need to sign up?
You will need a valid email address to accept your password. You will also need your Paypal account email address in order to accept payments from us. In line with our privacy policy, all submitted information is securely kept and never distributed to third parties. You will also need a valid website address in order for your account to be approved. This can be any kind of site however, including MySpace pages etc.

3) Will my affiliate login be the same as my Rombay.com main site login?
No, both systems are seperate. You don't need a normal Rombay.com account to sign up to our affiliate scheme, although we would recommend you have one as if you need to contact us the only way to do so is through the main Rombay.com site.

4) Do you use an independent system to monitor my sales and payments?
Yes. We use the award winning Post Affiliate Pro affiliate software, used by thousands of affiliate schemes across the world. This ensures that all your data is tracked accurately.

5) How can I get paid?
At present we can only make affiliate payments via Paypal. If you don't have a Paypal account unfortunately there isn't much point in you signing up to our affiliate scheme.

6) When do I get paid?
Affiliates are paid the first week of every month. The minimum payout amount is £50 GBP. If you have not reached the minimum payment by the first week of the month, your earnings will be carried over to the next month until you reach the minimum payout amount.

7) How much will I get paid?
Every time someone signs up to an upgraded account through one of your links, you will be paid 10% of the total upgrade value. So, if someone clicks a link on your website and goes on to purchase a £29.99 Platinum account you will receive £2.99 automatically. For very high performing affiliates, rates of up to 20% are available.

8) How soon must someone purchase an upgrade after clicking one of my affiliate links?
The cookie left after someone clicks one of your affiliate links lasts for 7 days. So, if someone clicks your affiliate link on a Monday and comes back and purchases an upgrade on Friday you will still get your 10% commission!

9) How do I generate affiliate links?
Once you have logged into your affiliate account, click the Banners/Links section. Select the link or banner you wish to use and copy the provided HTML code into your page. That's all you need to do!

11) I need different text on a link / I have a new image banner to use - can I use it?
Yes, simply contact us and we will add your required text or banner to the available selections. Please don't just alter the HTML code given (unless the link is one which allows this) as your sales might not be tracked correctly.

12) Where can I place my affiliate links?
Anywhere you want! Obviously, if you place your links in prominent positions on high traffic pages you are much more likely to generate large commissions.

13) Can I post my links on forums / blogs?
Yes, as long as you are able to post HTML code. Please do not spam forums or blogs with your affiliate links; any affiliate found to be doing this will have their account terminated.

14) Can I send affiliate links via email?
Yes, but again remember that you must not spam people or your account will be terminated.

15) Can I set up my affiliate links as Pay Per Click links?
Yes.

16) What happens if someone purchases an upgrade and then cancels their payment?
Unfortunately we will have to remove your commission for any payments that are withdrawn. This is quite rare however.
